Still failed completely at sex, though.
Title: Unwound
Fandom: Sandgirl
Characters/Pairings: Death/Delirium
Prompt: Sandman: Death/Delirium, bondage
Rating: pretty darn worksafe
Word count: 804
Warnings: implied mild incest, i.e. the prompt
Notes: Written under the influence of Ambien, which probably helped with the delirium, but not for coherency.
( Delirium huddled into the school of clown fish, ignoring the way they peeked out from the shelter of her hair and suddenly darted forth to nibble on her tears of red algae and tiny, salted brine shrimp. )
Day 1: My favorite FF
Tough, tough question. Most of them have their good and bad points, and some are favorites for different reasons. For overall balance, I'm going to go with IX; I liked most of the characters, the plot was kind of dark without taking itself too seriously, the gameplay was smooth enough, and the nostalgia factor was excellent. For specific qualities, though, VIII had the only minigame I enjoyed (Triple Triad kicked ass) and was the most fun to abuse (Enc None, turn items into spells, junction up, and limit the hell out of everything), X got me the teary-eyed-est (I don't care that it's not a word), XIII was the only one where I liked all of the playable characters (and a good chunk of everybody else), XII had one of the best plots, VI was the most epic, VII's had the most lasting impact on me (being the first one I played), and IV had the best love triangle. This doesn't include Tactics, either, which was all kinds of awesome, but really difficult for me to replay, due to a couple of the nigh-impossible battles I only lucked through the first time around.
If I wanted to totally cheat on the question, though, I'd say Vagrant Story. Sure, it's not FF, but it's Ivalice, just like Tactics and XII. XD

Fannish gushing
Jul. 14th, 2010 10:26 pmI have two game-related accomplishments today, which I feel cancel each other out.
I, special girl that I am, have been sick all week, been horribly unproductive in regards to meeting various fic challenges I've signed up for, and generally been miserable, so I turned to playing games.
( Cut for idiocy )
( On the other hand... )
So, the day's ended on a pretty positive note, and I'm actually feeling almost better. Hopefully, I can go back to work tomorrow.
